Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Mode of presentation: Offline E-poster presentation only (no need to print the final poster). There will be no oral paper presentations.
• Last date for abstract submission: 10th February 2026. Authors are requested to submit the abstract (word file) using the following link https://forms.gle/1vPhU1FDa9FhM7VT6
• Registration is mandatory for poster presentation. Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration.
• Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 300 words (excluding title, author names, and affiliations). - Posters must not be previously presented or submitted at any other conference.
- Abstracts must be submitted under one of the following two major categories:
- Neuropathology
- Non-Neuropathology
ABSTRACT STRUCTURE AND FORMAT
Font: Times New Roman, 12-point, single spacing
Mandatory Details (in the following order):
• Title (IN CAPITAL LETTERS)
• Author names and affiliations (underline the presenting author’s name)
• Presenting author’s full contact details (phone number, email ID)
• Category: Neuropathology vs non-neuropathology
- Study type: Case report or case series or original
- Structured abstract as follow

Study type definition:
- Case Report:
– 1–2 cases
– Descriptive documentation of unusual, rare, or educational findings
– No statistical analysis
– No predefined methodology or hypothesis testing - Case Series:
– 3–10 cases with similar clinicopathological features
– Primarily descriptive in nature
– May include simple descriptive summaries (counts, percentages)
– Does NOT include:
– A predefined study design
– Formal inclusion/exclusion criteria
– Comparative analysis between groups
– Hypothesis testing or inferential statistics - Original study:
A submission will be considered an Original Study if ALL of the following are present:
- Sample size:
– ≥11cases/samples - Study design:
– Clearly defined study type (prospective, retrospective, cross-sectional, analytical, etc.)
– Explicit inclusion and exclusion criteria - Methodology:
– Standardised and reproducible methods
– Defined parameters assessed across all cases - Analysis:
– Structured analysis of data
– Use of appropriate statistics (descriptive and/or inferential, as applicable)
– Results presented as trends, correlations, or group-wise comparisons - Research intent:
– Addresses a specific research question or hypothesis
– Goes beyond narrative description

• If the criteria for study type are not met, the abstract may be returned for reclassification, at the discretion of the scientific committee.
